Election Alert For Devin Nunez

Devin Nunez, a congressman from the 22^nd district, might take a position in the Trump administration. If he does, then a special election will be held to fill the vacancy. This is about 50/50. Nunez is reportedly holding out for a top foreign policy position and that might not happen.

The 22^nd is one of the most conservative districts in the country, but it has been represented for the last 20 years by moderates. Nunez had one of the most liberal rankings last year by the American Conservative Union among Republicans.
